Centenary Bank Limited has donated K2,500,000 towards the Presidential Charity Golf tournament scheduled for October 7, 2023, whose aim is to raise funds for underprivileged university students and survivors of tropical cyclones.

The Head of SME & Retail Banking, Mayamiko Kalizang'oma, stated during the cheque presentation, 'We responded to the call and made the donation in line with our mission of making a social impact and improving people's lives. This is the second time the bank has participated in the Presidential Charity Golf fundraising initiative. Last year, we joined His Excellency Dr. Lazarus Chakwera in raising funds for needy students.'

Ulemu Luhanga, representing the organizing committee for the Presidential Charity Golf, expressed gratitude to the bank for its generosity and mentioned that the donated funds will significantly contribute towards achieving their intended goals.
