Stephen has been the Head of Partnerships and Strategy since June 2024. He is responsible for managing the bank's partnerships and strategy.

Stephen is a seasoned career banker with over 26 years of progressive banking experience. He has worked in various departments and roles at Malawi Savings Bank, NedBank, MyBucks Banking Corporation, and Centenary Bank. He has also served on several boards.

He holds a Master of Science in Banking Practice and Management and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the London Institute of Banking and Finance, formerly the Chartered Institute of Bankers, UK. He also has a Higher Diploma in Financial Markets and Management from the University of Kent. He is a Chartered Fellow at the London Institute of Banking and Finance. Additionally, he has attended numerous programs in different areas, including corporate governance.
