Damiano Bindili Kamanga was appointed Head of IT on 1st July 2025.

He has extensive experience in banking technology and digital solutions, having served as IT Manager at Centenary Bank for five years. Before joining Centenary Bank, he was Head of IT at Nedbank for eight years, prior to its merger with MyBucks. He has also worked in the NGO and fintech sectors.

Damiano holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malawi, a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications from the University of Cape Town, and a Master of Business Administration from ESAMI.

He leads the Bank’s technology strategy in line with Centenary Bank’s mission to deliver inclusive, convenient, simplified, and sustainable financial solutions.
