Lissie Memory Machinjili is the Head of Audit at Centenary Bank. She is a Chartered Accountant (FCCA) with over 20 years’ experience in internal and external auditing within the banking and financial sectors.

Her career spans senior audit leadership roles including Internal Audit & Risk Manager at the Public Procurement & Disposal of Assets Authority (PPDA), Head of Internal Audit at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital, and Head of Internal Audit at Indebank Limited, where she led the audit function during the bank’s transition from an investment bank to a commercial bank.

Earlier in her career, Lissie served as Assistant Audit Manager at KPMG Malawi and held progressive roles at Standard Bank Malawi as Acting Head of Internal Audit, Senior Internal Auditor, and Internal Auditor, including assignments across multiple countries.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Derby and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Malawi.
